11:45 AM – $5 lunch or bring your own

North Sarasota Library Meeting Room, 2801 Newtown Blvd., Sarasota

Speaker: Erin Carter, Museum Educator and Training Specialist at The Ringling Museum

Come to this meeting, and bring snowbird friends with hearing loss, too, to learn about maximizing your next visit to The Ringling. Our January speaker, Erin Carter, holds a master’s degree in art history from the University of South Florida. Previously, she was an instructor of art history at Full Sail University and ran the volunteer program at the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Garden in Winter Park, Florida. Currently, her work at The Ringling involves training 120 docent volunteers to give tours of the various venues across campus. She also oversees the museum’s accessibility programs.
