Today’s adventure was to try and get dropdown menus to work with an iPad. (And, I suppose, an iPhone as well.) To make a long story short, we apparently have to have the little down arrows in order for things to work.

Is there a point to this post?

Well, yes, actually. If Joan hadn’t sent an email to the webmaster noting that things weren’t working properly on her iPad, this particular bug (a fairly serious one if you’re using an iPad) wouldn’t have gotten fixed.
